I would have been much more impressed if I just wandered into that path naturally. Since it was a sharp reminder that I was gaming this games systems to trigger the sequence of events that I wanted. The fact that I had to look up a guide to figure out how to get the girl I wanted broke the immersion for me. So I looked up a guide on steam and tried again and finally got the girl I wanted. It turns out I made one wrong choice with another girl which barred me off from that path. But instead I got the ending with Shou again. On my second playthrough I decided I wanted to romance Yuuna now that I knew her better. Because of that I didn't end up romancing anyone in the end and got the ending with my new best bro Shou. If I spent some free time one day with Yuuna I spend some free time the next day with Mayu. My first time playing I tried to hang out with as many people as I could because I wanted to see what my options are. If you don't spend enough time with a girl by not hanging out with them once when your suppose to you can't date them. The way the game determents who you end up with is by how much time you spend with each girl. The game has a few branching paths but the choices don't really feel organic. I do have something of a criticism but I'm not sure I should share it because it's coming from a guy who doesn't play visual romance novels. I can't imagen anyone else voicing any of these characters now. By the way the english voice acting is pretty good. Probably because the devs got a lot of youtubers to help with this game and do some of the voice acting. There's references to celebrities and youtubers and a few straight up cameos. As well as pop coulter and anime culture references. The game has multiple jokes and 4th wall breaks. They even make a joke about that where they break the 4th wall if you get one of the games endings. Well actually the real title of best girl goes to the younger sister Nikki because she's my favorite character. But I guess that means that your character ends up getting with Kaori in the lore of ACE Academy anyway since she's the only one with her own separate game. Kaori After Story much shorter then ACE Academy so I consider it DLC. It's much shorter then ACE Academy and ties in with the events of that game if you romance Kaori. And I WILL fight you to death if you say otherwise! □īut there is a game that comes after this one that's called Kaori After Story. "Valerie") is a hot French foreign exchange student that always hits on and flirts with all the guys she meets just to mess with them.įor me the title of best girl goes to Yuuna. Yuuna - (Pronounced "you-na") is friendly, hardworking, and innocent somewhat to a fault. Mayu - (Pronounced "may-you") is the quiet, shy, introverted bookworm. Which means she starts out as a cold, distant, hotheaded person before gradually showing her warmer and friendlier side over time. Kaori - (Pronounced "cow-re" I keep calling her Keori and Kary for some reason) she's the tsundere character. His banter became so cringe to the point it became kind of adorable. At first he and that stupid nickname he gives you really annoyed me, but over time he grew on me. He's there to make you and your character look cool by comparison. He's energetic, goofy, awkward, and not very good with girls. You have your friend Shou - (Pronounced "Show" as in a TV show) who's your standard sidekick character. While also trying to uncover the secret of the GEAR you and your father built together before he died.Īs for the characters you have all the standard archetypes you can expect in a game like this. While attending classes and competing to see who can be the best GEAR pilot you meet and develop relationships with all the characters. The mechs in this universe are called GEARs and it takes place sometime in the "near" future (2049). You attend a school called ACE Academy for people looking to become professional mech pilots. You move from America with your little sister to live with your uncle in Japan after your parents die in an accident. You can also choose what attributes you have but it doesn't have any major effect on gameplay. You're a half Japanese half America guy whos first and last name you can choose at the start. I don't play visual novels very much but this was fun. You can easily check the text for plagiarism, and as expected, nothing is found. That’s why I like Rytr, it gives me the ability to regenerate the text without any limitations until I’m satisfied with the result.Īnd if you have the concern that this AI tool is just using text from other websites and pasting it there, then you are wrong. The choice is yours, and you should know when the content is good enough to move on to the next paragraph. You can try to improve the text, rephrase it, write a paragraph around the sentence, shorten the text, or expand it. Just highlight any sentence you want, and it gives you a list of commands you can use. One of the cool features of this AI writing assistant is that you have the power to customize the text even more. However, if you don’t like the result, you can easily delete the entire section and let Rytr create another paragraph. What I see, is a pretty good introduction to the topic and I like it. It takes only a few seconds, and the Rytr is making a paragraph about minimalist living. When you choose the title and outline you like, just delete the rest to make the page clearer.Īnd now the magic begins, because I show you how to create a script for your video from these few sentences.Īs you can see in the picture, some of the sections have keywords in italic, which simply means, these keywords will be used in the text the AI will generate.Īnd this is incredibly easy to make happen, Just highlight all the text and then click the paragraph command. I like this title because it is more personal which is great for YouTube. With a push of a single button, I get three variants of the video title and outlines. This is one reason why I like to use a High creativity level to get the AI writer to make more unique and creative text. When you use the None level, you get more facts in the text, but the issue here is that you need to double-check these facts because AI writers are not good at this. The creativity level is also important because it affects the same text way as the tone. I like to have a maximum of three variants. The next important thing you should do before you generate the outline for your script is to select the number of variants and creativity level. You should be aware, that the more keywords you add, the more targeted text you get. For this article, I want to create a script about a minimalistic lifestyle, so I’m adding these keywords into this box. Holiday Pop-Ups The Adolphus Hotel Winter Village It’s unclear whether Collabora or another developer will take charge of maintaining the version of LibreOffice hosted on the Mac App Store The Register notes that Collabora previously charged $10 for “LibreOffice Vanilla” with three years of support. Educating enterprises about is not a trivial task and we have just started our journey in this direction.” “The objective is to fulfill the needs of individual and enterprise users in a better way, although we know that the positive effects of the change will not be visible for some time. “We are grateful to Collabora for having supported LibreOffice on Apple’s Mac App Stores for quite a long time,” Vignoli said. The objective is to draw a clearer distinction between LibreOffice clients backed by professional services and community releases that are supported by volunteers, Vignoli added. (LibreOffice on the Mac App Store doesn’t include Java because external dependencies aren’t allowed on the store.) The LibreOffice client on the Mac App Store falls into this latter category because it’s not based on the same source code as the base LibreOffice project, Vignoli says, and was maintained by U.K.-based software consultancy Collabora. In a blog post, Italo Vignoli, head of marketing and public relations at LibreOffice, said that the change was reflective of a “new marketing strategy” where TDF will focus on releasing free, community versions of LibreOffice while “ecosystem companies” develop “value-added” releases targeted at enterprise customers. First spotted by The Register, it’s an unexpected step for The Document Foundation (TDF) - the organization behind LibreOffice - which since its inception has made all versions of LibreOffice available at no charge. LibreOffice, the popular open source document processing suite, has begun charging users who download the software through the Mac App Store a one-time fee of $8.99. However, my songs already have the correct Artist Name, Track Title in the filename, I just need to lookup the track to get Year, Cover Image etc.For some reason, the first method, ie Acoustic Fingerprinting is giving me very poor result on a certain set of songs.Picard has two modes of identifying a song: 1) Acoustic Fingerprinting, and 2) Lookup using existing metadata.I am looking for guidelines, but an example would be great. I need a way to be able to w rite a custom script that allows me to use the Picard's lookup feature, with the parameters I extract from sed (in-script) from the filename, and do a lookup. However, the titles are like this: " (Song Name)-(Artist).(format)", and they are almost perfect. The files have no metadata, and the fingerprinting tool is very inefficient (<50% mean accuracy). If you have any tagging or naming tips and tricks, or just want to argue about the right way to organize music, leave me a comment.I have a collection of music files (~200/batch) that I need to tag through Picard. To edit the presets you have to make a copy, Picard won’t actually let you edit the presets. You can edit these in Picard under Options -> File naming script editor. The last line has an if statement to add the disk number if there’s more than 1 disc, otherwise it just uses the track number and doesn’t add a disk number to the scheme. Picard’s file-naming scripts have a lot of flexibility. The default scripts that ship with Picard don’t quite match that, so I tweaked one to get a custom script that gets what I want: %albumartist%/ The NN is the track number with the optional structure of DD-NN where DD is the disc number and then the track number. Song title, again, is pretty self explanatory. (Deluxe editions are a special case and that’s a different discussion.) I want the original year of the album’s release. The Beatles catalog may not have made it to CD until the late 80s, but I don’t care about that. The (Year) should be the original release year of the album, not the release year of the album on whatever media it was digitized from. If it’s a single, I just use the single’s name as the album name or whatever is in MusicBrainz or Discogs as the canonical title for the release. If it’s a compilation with multiple artists, it gets “Various Artists.” Album should be pretty much self-explanatory. To break that down, Album Artist is the overall release’s artist. The structure that works best for me, and is therefore the correct structure, is:Īlbum Artist/Album name (Year)/NN – song title.mp3 The correct directory (folder) and filename scheme for MP3s, FLACs, and other music filesĪt some point, after the collection passed the 200GB mark, the digital mess started bugging me and I started experimenting with naming schemes and attempts to clean up the structure and tagging of all the files. Eventually I got an iPod and kept adding to the collection. It had, I think, a whopping 6GB of space. Eventually I got a Creative Nomad player the size of portable CD player. My collection grew slowly and organically, and there wasn’t much organization to it. Digital downloads were just for novelty or rarities that I couldn’t get on CD like some unofficial Tori Amos tracks off a fan page. My MP3 collection grew pretty slowly, since portable MP3 players were still a few years off and CDs were still the most convenient way to listen to music. This was when you had to have a download manager for huge downloads that measured in the multiple megabytes, and a 1GB disk drive would be consider spacious. I think I downloaded my first MP3 somewhere around 1997, using a super-speedy 56K modem. You know, the right way to name and organize music files. As an added bonus, it’ll rename the files so that the folder and filenames all match the same scheme. Most of the time I can just look up an album and it finds the correct info automagically. The MusicBrainz database is fantastic, and it saves me a lot of time tweaking metadata. Last year I got deep into using MusicBrainz Picard to help tag music before I add it to my collection. |
